Welcome To The Grossland Guide
This site is an accumulation of all my personal artwork, with the main concentration being the Grossland Universe. The site is compiled with photos, paintings, digital artwork, sketches, video, blog entries and basically anything else that I create. Use the menu to the left and select an area of Grossland to explore. I am always adding new entries and evolving the navigation, so please check back often.

For my blog entries or artwork that does not fit into the universe, such as photography, you can find it under the "Et Cetera" section above or the "More Media" menu located below the Grossland map to the left.

OMG SCARY!

Posted In Video On Wednesday June 17 , 2009

A while back my friend sent me some footage he shot on his little point and shoot. He was trying to make a scary little clip which didn’t come out so good. I told him I would try to edit it a bit to give it more of a horror feel. This abomination is what I came up with.

Car Decal Design

Posted In Blog, Digital Still Work On Wednesday June 17 , 2009

I designed these for my car.  I think I am going to try and make them this weekend. It is the Dharma Logo, the Weighted Companion Cube and the Meat icon from the 1st Zelda on NES.

Vinny Guataloochie

Posted In Sketches On Wednesday June 10 , 2009

Oh Vinny, you have been around for quite a few years…

Vinny Guataloochie is a hypothetical man I had devised as someone to reference when I felt like lying to people for no reason. I dropped his name at many bars and told stories of epic proportions (like the origin of the pancake and The real reason for the start of the 1st world war)  which were designed just to confuse  douchbags  as to what the hell I was talking about (a lot of them even believed it). I even once almost failed a class because of this man.  I had always thought of him looking like Danny Devito from “Romancing the Stone”. This is a sketch I made of him some years back. I miss him and hope to talk of him again one day soon.

Boring Old Salad

Posted In Photography On Wednesday June 10 , 2009

This is the only picture of food that I have ever shot that didn’t make it look like some sort of disgusting flea-market/carnival food that would have been in the background of some 70s snuff film. And for that reason, I give you my colorful and awesome salad.

Fetalguise

Posted In Blog, Digital Still Work, Sketches On Friday June 5 , 2009

fetaljuice-mainThis was one of the first ideas a friend and I came up with in school. It was low-level dumb humor, but to this day I still think it is hilarious. I might make a web-comic out of this, as I am still throwing around ideas for a regular strip. However, I might just do a slew of ideas and see which ones stick and not limit any possibilities.

Honestly these types of random stream of conscious doodle pages are where some of my favorite ideas have come from. In this picture, you can see when I came up with the Nimphods.

Ice-Cows

Posted In Top World - Species On Thursday June 4 , 2009

ice-cow_mainThe Ice-Cow can be found along the icy coastal shores of the Frosted Lands. The Ice-Cow is noticeable by its massive bulk and long tusks.

The average adult can weight up to 6,00lbs which doesn’t allow the animal to move very fast. As a result from its weight the Sea Cow spends most of its days sunning on the shores feeding on fish that swim into the shallow waters nearby.

I am not sure what I am going to do with this yet, maybe nothing, but it would make for a fun painting.
