This section consists of work that does not necessarily fit into the Grossland Universe. Rather than creating a separate site for random works and sketches, I have dedicated this section for those instances. This section consists of Sketches, Paintings, Video, Photography and other mediums each with it’s respective sub-category for ease of browsing.
Here is a final sketch I just finished for a new painting. I will start working on painting either today or tomorrow. I expect it to take a month or two to complete.
It is titled: “Divine Intravenous (Aphrodite and The Doppelganger)” I will post a photo when it is finished.
I thought this was pretty cool… Slashgamer.com featured my Fire Cowboy animation on thier front page this past weekend. Check the article out here. If you like video games it is also a nice site for a more avant-garde approach to game news.
A while back my friend sent me some footage he shot on his little point and shoot. He was trying to make a scary little clip which didn’t come out so good. I told him I would try to edit it a bit to give it more of a horror feel. This abomination is what I came up with.
I designed these for my car. I think I am going to try and make them this weekend. It is the Dharma Logo, the Weighted Companion Cube and the Meat icon from the 1st Zelda on NES.
Oh Vinny, you have been around for quite a few years…
Vinny Guataloochie is a hypothetical man I had devised as someone to reference when I felt like lying to people for no reason. I dropped his name at many bars and told stories of epic proportions (like the origin of the pancake and The real reason for the start of the 1st world war) which were designed just to confuse douchbags as to what the hell I was talking about (a lot of them even believed it). I even once almost failed a class because of this man. I had always thought of him looking like Danny Devito from “Romancing the Stone”. This is a sketch I made of him some years back. I miss him and hope to talk of him again one day soon.
This is the only picture of food that I have ever shot that didn’t make it look like some sort of disgusting flea-market/carnival food that would have been in the background of some 70s snuff film. And for that reason, I give you my colorful and awesome salad.
