The Seeder is a watermelon based bot with the ability to shoot its sharp seeds at opponents. The machine can also be eqipped with an external source of seeds from various vegitation and the guns used to plant an area of fresh plant life of choice.

The Brazza is a creature who can be found living in some of the sparse yet large trees found throughout grassland areas on the Topworld. They are most commonly identified by their blueish snouts and grey beard-like chin fur. The Brazza stand about 3 to 4 feet tall and have been known to walk upright as well as on all fours, depending on the movements that it intends to make. They are excellent climbers and can leap large distances without much effort.

The Brazza is often referred to as the “Ant Gods” due to the fact that they use low toned billowing calls to summon and control colonies of ant species to aid in their various projects or defense. The Brazza’s call is low enough to reach far underground where ants dwell and can be heard by the insects in a 2 mile radius.

This is a painting I did a few months ago. I am really not that fond of it, but some who have seen it seem to like it.

This oven was in a fort that I visited in St. Augustine.

Gruffalopes spend most of their time grazing throughout fields in loose herds . They are very large beasts with shoulder heights up to 7 feet tall. Although the size of the Gruffalope may be immense, it can still run up to speeds of 45 miles per hour for short periods of time. The Gruffalope are not territorial and are generally friendly beasts that can be easily approached.

The Dai-Z 3000 is the standard soldier droid of the Horti-Army. Very general in features, the unit is equipped with standard weapons and powerful arms and legs. Dai-Z 3000s are mass produced and some of them do have overlooked defects since they are mostly used as pawns in battle.

I have no idea what to do with this sketch, but I like it.

A great, although very wet, three-day weekend just ended. On my drive home from the Clearwater area I got stuck in a monster storm that ended up making my drive about an hour longer than it should have been. The rain was blinding and I eventually became stuck on a 2 lane country road due to a massive tree falling across. The detour I had to take was actually pretty interesting and picturesque, if it had not been storming as badly. I will have to go back and take some photos some day. Here are some photos I took in my car on the way home after it cleared up a bit.

Part of the “Bionic Vegetation Project” these monstrous machines are built specially for carrots and use their beta-carotene for energy and direction. You can expect a perfect targeting system from these beasts and are primarily used for initial attacks and assassinations for the Hortical Kingdom and the Vegetable Uprising.

These vicious carnivorous pack feeders can totally consume a large animal in a matter of minutes. Ranahs are extremely aggressive, but usually eat smaller animals than itself such as insects or smaller fish. However, if given the opportunity when traveling in greater numbers, Ranahs will attack anything that stands in water regardless of size.

Ranahs can be found in many different fresh-water areas of Top World and have been imported to other parts of Grossland as well. If the Sun is shining right, one can see a large pack of these predators coming in a fast paced sparkling reflection off their scales in the water.

Bluebird Haze is another name I sometimes put my artwork under. This is the logo that I came up with for the label.

These small aquatic creatures are often mistaken as friendly and playful due to their large poison glands at its sides which resemble big “puppy-dog” eyes. It is not advisable to approach a Skiddle as their poison can kill a medium sized creature within a few hours. Skiddles do not attack unless approached unless the animal is smaller in size. Skiddles feed on a mainly shellfish diet, but have been known to eat red meat if it is available.

The Signing Serpent’s are a rare but interesting sight to come across on an ocean voyage. They are not extremely confrontational or dangerous, but can cause a ship to sink if you get in its way. The Singing Serpent was given its name for obvious reasons, it is always practicing its songs and show-tunes while traveling about the great waters. If you come across one of these creatures, it is advised that you grant it a small if even brief audience for two reasons. One, it is a rare experience to see one of these animals in action, and two, you really do not want to insult these giant beasts as they can crush the hull of a ship with little effort or second thought. In any case, it is wise to applaud and gush for these beasts even if you abhor the show. (more…)

This was a design that was used as flyer (sans info) back in 2003 or 4. I think it was for a DJ or party of some sort in downtown Orlando. I remember the kid I did it for, he was kind of a douch bag.

A race of alien creatures from a very small planet called Toghloobalon that have amazing tracking skills and an almost unnatural sense of smell. Most of these beings take up bounty hunting and do very well. (more…)

The main Infantry of the armies in the 8th layer of Wasteland who serve under Pit Lord Tortch. Very Strong and hard to injure, the Skull Soldiers are product of a creature being submerged in the Fernal Lake. After going under, they emerge emotionless drones who feel no pain. Alhough they all bare the same common traits, there are many different types of skull soldiers as the creature still retains its abilities and structure of its previous state. (more…)

A small pest that can be found in many areas of Top World. Cyhoppers are onivours that feed of vegitation and mostly dead animals. These bugs are only dangerous in giant swarms.

The Skarwarble is a relitivly dumb beast commonly used as a mode of transportation on the Top World. They are easily caught, and do not try to escape very often. Skarwarbles are extremely strong with the ability to carry 4 times it’s own weight, although they do require a massive amount of food and water to survive. This need of large amounts of food leave the Skarwarble most commonly used for short distance travel, but if one needs and can afford to feed the animal, it is a perfect traveling companion for long distance adventures.

The Pipoclaw uses its sissor-like spinning hands to cut down trees and foliage as it moves through forests. It usually lives in hollowed trees and feeds off the debris that is in the air as a product of it cutting through vegitation. The Pipoclaw also uses its claws as a defense mechinism, but it does not have a wide range of control as to where the blades can aim, which are usually confines strait outward position (They can be raised and lowered).

These are sketches for a storty of mine called “The Hollow”. This story revolves around the Strangers and deals mainly with The  Unknown.
