Copperhead is the illest MC to come out of Boise, Idaho. With DJ Wholegrain at his side producing dope tracks laced with the razor sharp wit of Copperhead himself, leaves the listener with something that they have never experienced before.Copperhead also known as Gunther Goldman who was a small time hustler on the streets of Boise always looking for a way to get out of the harsh city. When Copperhead first met Billy Willams (DJ Wholegrain), it was in a holding cell where Copperhead was arrested for public nudity and harassment. Dj Wholegrain was being held for misconduct with a ketchup packet. The two became friends almost immediately forming their first group which was known as Children of da Corn. That idea dwindled fast after Copperhead was arrested once again for assault on a local judge who Copperhead had felt convicted him of previous crimes because the judge himself was a racist.
After being released Copperhead reunited with his good friend and they started lacing tracks in the basement of DJ Wholegrain’s aunt who they both were living with at the time. Soon after the two became a smash hit in underground Boise clubs with the tracks “I killed da Mockingbird” and “Back in tha Dizage”. Soon after, the two were signed to Digleberry Records which is an indie record company that originated in Boise under the parent company Bluebird Haze.
Later the introduction of the Sweathog Squad would come and bring everything together to form one of the greatest rap entities around.

Copperhead’s Crew known as the “Sweat Hog Squad” consists of the following:

All of which work with Copperhead on his albums, as well as providing security.
The Death of Vern
Shortly after Copperhead’s debut album “EFF YOU, YOU MUTHER EFFER” he was struck with the tragic death of his Brother Vernon. Vernon had been at the local county fair, when he was thrown from the amusement ride known widely as the “Tilt-A-Whirl”. He died almost instantly breaking his neck as he smashed head-first into the cotton candy machine. This incident lead Copperhead into a dark period of despair and anguish, as he was very close with his brother. Soon after Copperhead announced his newest EP entitled “Main Course: Pimpin’ with a Side of Pap-Pap”, which would include such hits as “Heat It Up” and the memorial “Lil’ Bro No Mo” dedicated to the memory of his brother Vernon. In 2004 Copperhead was sentenced to 5 years in prison for his vandalizing and destruction of the Tilt-A-Whirl amusment ride that he claims killed his brother. He is scheduled for release sometime in August 2009.
