Often called the “God of Wings”, Madumn is thought to be the oldest and wisest of all flying creatures.
Madumn spends most of the day within a great tree known as the Butterfly Hollow. This is a tree that all the caterpillars from around the whole surface of Grossland travel to begin its cocooning. Roughly once a month when the cocooning is ending a huge stream of wondrous colors can be seen flowing into the sky above the forest roof top, these colors are the thousands of butterflies hatching at once and leaving to return to their homelands. Madumn spends most of this time watching over the cocoons and meeting with other flying creatures helping them with problems and queries.

Madumn has one great power besides wisdom and that is the power to relieve any creature of the sky from its wings. Madumn considers this power extremely sacred and will only use it under the direst of circumstances.
